Based
in the East End of London, Jason Harris forms half of
the photographic company 2pixies, a creative partnership
together with Raffaella Morini.
Both graduated from the world-renowned St. Martins College
of Art and Design in June 2003 achieving postgraduate
certificates in professional photographic practices.
Originally trained as a graphic designer working in
the publishing sector for companies including Which?
Ltd. Eaglemoss Publications and Marshall Cavendish,
Jason left his post as Art Editor of Holiday Which?
in 2004 to pursue a career in photography together with
Raffaella.
With a combined twenty years experience in visual arts
and design, 2pixies is characterised by a multi-faceted
approach with a unique, innovative style that harmoniously
merges a wide variety of specialised artistic and technical
skills; ranging from traditional photographic techniques
to the latest in digital capture and post production,
their imagery harmoniously merges both photographic
and illustrative genres.
Aside from the photojournalistic approach taken for
the Alberdi School exhibition, 2pixies has successfully
completed professional assignments at 11 Downing Street
as well as taking on photographic commissions for Penguin
Books. The company specialises in portrait and fashion
photography for the publishing and advertising industries.
